“Who Do You Think You Are?” New Book By Mark Driscoll

“The fundamental problem we have in this world,” says Mark Driscoll, “is that we don’t understand who we truly are—children of God made in His image—and define ourselves by any number of things other than Jesus.”

I couldn’t agree with a statement more! This is why I’m excited to be announcing that Driscoll’s new book, dealing with this issue by examining the even greater book of Ephesians, releases today!

How Great Leaders Inspire Action – [Video]

Whether you are beginning a new season of work in your life or organization, as I am recently, or you’re needing to take a look at where you’ve been for a while, this applies to you! Especially for anyone in the position of leadership, authority, management, ministry (which in many ways is nearly everyone), this applies to you!

As people of influence, it’s always important to step out of the “whats” and “hows” of what we’re doing and refresh ourselves on the “why.” Thoughts and info on the book is below…

Recent Readings – June(ish) 2012

Here’s a nice little list of a few of the more noteworthy or favorite things I’ve read as of late. Ok, it’s not just the month of June, but I’m allowed slack here since this is my first ever Recent Readings post. It’s reaching back through the archives a bit, but only barely, and I do actually read way more than this in a month. No doubt. GOOD ARTICLES FROM THE LAST FEW WEEKS Today Was Supposed to Be My …

Finished Book! Super Excited! DENY Begins!

DENY disciple Jesus Christ training program

I’m pumped! When I finish writing this post I’m going to do a backflip, in fact. This week we began DENY for the summer of 2012. If you don’t know what DENY is, then you don’t know me very well. So my last post was obviously the “Who Knew?” videos that I find quite interesting and entertaining, but in that post I embedded the video about Black History month – …

Some Good Articles and Links

I have this humorous but slightly annoying problem, or perhaps more rightly called a complex, of staying crazy organized. I also have an exact same kind of deal with opening, and leaving open, multiple tabs on my browser. The thought now would be, “everyone does that with their browser, dude,” but I don’t mean just a few… No, we’re talking, for example, right now as I type this I have 27 (yes, twenty-seven) different browser tabs open on my desktop, and neither Facebook nor Twitter are one of them!

TMM Logo and Category Icons image - Streams of content categorized by our roles as men.

I serve as the Director and Editor-In-Chief of The Majesty’s Men, a multi-faceted ministry and brand I founded in 2013 focused on facilitating friendship and mentoring between Christian. TMM is made up of an online community and blog, a network of exemplary men and their sites, a brand and shop, resources, and, most importantly, a growing network of localized face-to-face communities.

I build the site, manage our accounts and volunteers, lead the editing, and lead in strategy and marketing for TMM. It has been a wonderful and super challenging learning experience over the years and I have many more plans for the future!

The best way to get to know TMM is to hop over to the site and check it out.
