Did You Miss My Workshop At Fall Conference 2012?

Did we meet at the collegiate Fall Conference 2012 this weekend? If so, hello again! Did you miss the workshop I lead (Making Christ Known On Today’s Campus and Using Social Media – Jon Sapp and Riley Adam Voth). If so, stay tuned!

Either way, thanks for checking in. I hope to help you out as I continue to write (and perhaps use some video) to cover the topic of social media in ministry, life, evangelism and disciple making.

I believe these are great and necessary tools for the world we live in. Because most are so busy though, we often don’t have time to discover the best methods to keep these tools from controlling us instead of the other way around.

Also, I’ll be able to expound upon the concepts a little better since we have more time and mediums at our disposal here. Of course, one of the things I love most about this method is FEEDBACK! Ask questions! Let me know what you want to know!

I believe it will be helpful to anyone whether you’re just the average user or you’re in full time ministry trying to figure out how to leverage these for maximum impact. So, I’m looking forward to helping you out!

It was a pleasure to meet many of you for the first time, and to see some familiar faces! Get rested, and then let’s talk! It’s back to work… but it’s a good work! :)

Now, let me take a moment to show you how to make sure you get the updates as I blog…

There are three certain ways you can do this and a couple less certain ways. The “less certain” would be to follow me on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, or even Pinterest. Just search “rileyadamvoth” in any of those and you’ll find me! You may miss things that way though because those places have a lot of other noise happening!

So the sure-fire ways are:

  •  To the right of this post you’ll see a header that reads “Updates To Your Email“. Simply fill out the info and click Subscribe, and once you confirm it you’ll get the weekly summary of the blog dropped in your inbox every Saturday morning!
  • Want it sooner? Inbox scary (until we conquer it too!)? Then subscribe to the RSS feed up in the right hand corner of the Menu Bar! It’s that orange icon! This assumes you use an RSS reader to read your blogs or sites you like… if not, we can work on that too! :)
  • Lastly, and most certainly my favorite, come back to the blog and simply tap the drop down in the menu and choose “Social Media (or type it into the search box) and you’ll get only those posts relating to this topic.

Again, be sure to ask any questions you may have and I’ll be happy to help with that specifically!

I serve as the Director and Editor-In-Chief of The Majesty’s Men, a multi-faceted ministry and brand I founded in 2013 focused on facilitating friendship and mentoring between Christian. TMM is made up of an online community and blog, a network of exemplary men and their sites, a brand and shop, resources, and, most importantly, a growing network of localized face-to-face communities.

I build the site, manage our accounts and volunteers, lead the editing, and lead in strategy and marketing for TMM. It has been a wonderful and super challenging learning experience over the years and I have many more plans for the future!

The best way to get to know TMM is to hop over to the site and check it out.

A super simple blog I use for writing thoughts on personal development and the tension I live in of working in both “ministry and marketplace” work.
