Are you tired of having 1000 “friends” but only seeing updates from the same 20 that you don’t even like? Tired of the political rants, the ridiculous pictures, the “guess what I did every ten seconds” people, the creepers, the… oh, you get it? Well then, this post is for you!!! No seriously, you have no idea how much you’re going to love this.
A week(ish) ago I announced the start of an ongoing posting I’ll be doing on my blog I’m calling Tips For Life Tuesday! So today I’m excited to begin with my first one!
Check out the announcement video and post to get the full idea of what’s going on, but we’re talking real practical tips, tricks, and advice here. We’re starting off with one of my favorite, most useful bits of practical advice I’ve been giving out recently. People love it, and I know you will too if you use it!
UTILIZING FACEBOOK FRIENDS LISTS
They’re great in SO MANY WAYS, yet so under appreciated and utilized! Check out the video below. I’ll not only explain this idea, but I’ll walk you through how to set these up (using a screencast to show you) and utilize them to their maximum potential.
We’ll even talk about how these could help you engage your social media interactions with a missional mindset. This one tip will be one of your best tactics in your online strategy! As I say in the video, check out my post, A Philosophy For Social Media Use and Online Strategy, for more on this thinking.
Then be sure to leave your thoughts and any comments or questions you have. The amount of feedback this receives will determine how often I post these. Of course I love your comments, but one of the best ways to thank me for this is to share it with your friends, family, and coworkers! Help me help you help them! Hope it helps!
